Bookable (“we”, “us”) turns photographs of book pages into narrated audio. This policy explains what information the app and its services handle.
Signing in creates an account identified by your email address and display name (provided by your chosen sign-in provider). We use it to associate your library and subscription with you.
Photographs of book pages stay on your device unless you convert them. Converting a book sends the recognized page text to our server, which forwards it to Google Cloud Text-to-Speech to generate narration. Page text is used only to produce your audio and is not sold or used for advertising.
Generated narration audio is stored so you can listen offline and manage pages in your library. You can delete books or individual pages at any time from the app.
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe (web checkout) or Apple (in-app purchase). We never see your full payment details. Stripe and Apple handle payment data under their own privacy policies.
We keep minimal server logs (for example, to debug narration failures). Logs do not contain the content of your books.
